Emergent Respiratory Products Names Two New Regional Sales Managers
Irvine, CA (February 28, 2005) Emergent Respiratory Products recently named Ken Ritucci and David Gelfund
Regional Sales Managers for the company. Their responsibilities include managing multi-state distribution
and providing reseller support.
"Our goal is to bring top talent and experience into the organization with individuals from some of the
world’s most respected medical technology companies," Gary Calvaneso, Vice-President for Emergent said in
making the announcement.
Rutucci brings eighteen years of experience in hospital and physician sales including medical products,
capital equipment and IT services and solutions to Emergent. He spent the majority of his career with
McKesson, and was most recently with Cardinal Health and Kendall. Ritucci earned a BS degree from Southern
Connecticut State University.
Prior to joining Emergent, David Gelfund worked for Henry Schein, Access Cardiosystems and Medical Research
Laboratories. Gelfund was also in sales and regional management with Laerdal Medical Corporation. He has a
Bachelors degree in Biomedical Instrumentation from Southern Illinois University.
"With the addition of Rutucci and Gelfund, we will have a well managed sales organization.
Our goal is to become the preeminent market leader in the early intervention and treatment of acute
respiratory distress and to elevate the standard of care for CHF patients," Calvaneso added.
